  1. Download Litvin & Litvin Ch 1.1-1.7
  2. Number Systems

 

Unit 2: An Introduction to Software Engineering (Ch. 2 & Ch. 5)

  1. Read Chapter 2 and answer these questions.
  2. Download FirstExamples.zip and use these examples to help you complete Programming Assignment 2.1.
  3. Read Chapter 5.  Do the lab in section 5.6 [MovingDisk program].  Also, answer the Ch 5 questions: 1, 4, 6, 9, 10, 12a [Morning program].

Personal Projects

  1. Robocode!  Download it!  Learn about it!
  2. Note: to get Robocode to see the compiler, you need to add the following text [C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_21\bin] to your classpath and path environment variables.  To do this, right click on My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Environment Variables.  Under System Variables, double click on CLASSPATH.  Go to the end of the classpath, add a semicolon, and then paste the text.  Do the same for PATH.

    Awww!!! We have AP CS now!?
    Why did we have this when I was still at Byng!

    Oh well, I still got a 5 self-studying XD
