Double Blessings

On November 6, 1978, in the little town of Terrace in British Columbia, Canada, a little baby boy named Len was born.

Nine months later, on the other side of the Pacific Ocean in the bustling metropolis of Guangzhou, China, a little baby girl named Susan came into the world.

These two babies’ worlds came closer together when Susan and her family immigrated to Canada a year later and settled in Regina, SK.

Growing up, little Len was obsessed with dinosaurs, loved all things Star Wars and Star Trek, and played a lot of street hockey.

Little Susan loved music, Anne of Green Gables, and watched every single movie starring Jet Li.

When both Len and Susan attended university at Vancouver’s UBC, their paths finally crossed one another’s through the help of mutual friends, Swiss Chalet, and a shared appreciation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

In the nearly nine and half years since that magical night, they have had many adventures together, played many rousing tournaments of scrabble and Dr. Mario, and have cherished learning about life, each other, and the world together.

Now, they are about to embark on their greatest adventure and life lesson yet…

Double the challenge. Double the fun. Double the blessings.
